JEE Advanced Important Questions of Organic Compound Containing Nitrogen. The JEE Advanced exam is conducted in January, February, and May every year. The duration of JEE Advanced is 2 hours and the question paper consists of 150 questions each in three sections (Quantitative Aptitude, English Language and Comprehension, and Reasoning).

All three sections are equally important in JEE Advanced, and each candidate is required to attempt every section, which can be attempted in any order. JEE Advanced can be attempted with no coaching from JEE coaching institutes. To find out the level of aspirants, the exam is categorized into seven sections – A, B, C, D, E, F, and G. The sections A, B, C, D, E, F, and G are known as Tier-I, Tier-II, Tier-III, Tier-IV, Tier-V, Tier-VI, and Tier-VII respectively. The percentage weightage is given to Tier-IV and Tier-V, as the marks obtained in these sections directly effectuate Tier-II and Tier-I respectively. The score of each section is 150 marks, with the marks obtained in each section being added to obtain the overall marks.

The procedure of JEE Advanced

The question paper is of 150 questions, each with 3 options out of which 2 are correct and 1 is wrong. The duration of the exam is 2 hours and all the sections can be attempted in any order. This exam is conducted on one date only. The question paper consists of four papers (A, B, C, and D) which carry the weightage of 25%, 25%, 25%, and 25% respectively. Each paper contains 75 questions, with a time duration of 60 minutes for each paper. The questions for the four papers are from five different sections:

All four papers carry a weightage of 75 marks, and each paper has a total of 150 marks. The marks obtained in each section are added to the corresponding weightage to reach the total marks of the section.

Section A contains questions on the topics like (a) Linear Algebra and (b) Complex Analysis.

Section B contains questions on the topics like (a) General Physics and (b) Electricity and Magnetism.

Section C contains questions on the topics like (a) Atomic and Molecular Physics and (b) Atomic Structure and Mechanics.

Section D contains questions on the topics like (a) Relativity and Quantum Mechanics and (b) Statistical Mechanics and Thermodynamics.

The question paper for Tier-I, Tier-II, and Tier-III consists of 75 questions. It has a total of 75 marks, and these are calculated through the questions attempted by the candidates.

Tier-I consists of 50 questions, and they have a weightage of 20 marks.

Tier-II consists of 75 questions, and they have a weightage of 20 marks.

Tier-III consists of 75 questions, and they have a weightage of 20 marks.

All the question papers for the three stages have a total of 150 marks, which are calculated through questions attempted by the candidates.

Each question carries a weightage of 1/4th of the total marks available for that section. So, 150 marks are divided by 4, and the remaining will be the marks allotted to a particular section. For example, if the total weightage of a question section is 50 marks, then the weightage of a single question is 1/2 (or 25 marks), and the remaining marks (or 75 marks) is allotted to the total question weightage (50 marks) of the corresponding section.
