In this unit, you will learn about Gas in Liquid, Liquid in Liquid, Solid in Liquid and in it you will get to know Oxygen in water and carbon dioxide in water. All these concepts are well explained with examples and suitable sketches to them. You will also see the examples on Minimum boiling and maximum boiling azeotropes, Vapour phase composition over liquid solutions, Elevation in boiling point and molal elevation constant. Students have to focus more on the above mentioned concepts in order to score more marks. They also perform experiments on Glass polymorphism and liquid-liquid phase transition in aqueous solution.
Liquid solutions is one of the most interesting topics among all the other chapters. The experiments performed in it are realistic and they also are very simple. Liquid solutions carry 6% to 7% in the final examination which is around 4 to 5 marks. The solutions to the important questions are prepared in a stepwise manner for easy understanding and grasping the concept quickly.
