1. Is it necessary that the students prepare for all four subjects?

Students in the SA stream have to take science and mathematics and all the questions have to be answered. While in SX and SB there will be four sections in part 1 and for sections in part 2 is Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics. Students can answer any 3 subjects in part 1 and any 2 subjects in part 2. In case any student answers more than 3 in part 1 and more than 2 in part 2 then the best of three and best of 2 is selected respectively. 

2. What is the eligibility criteria for the KVPY SB stream?

The eligibility criteria for the KVPY SB is that the students have to secure at least 60% marks in the case of the general category and 50% marks if the students fall under the category of SC/ST/PWD category in aggregate in Science subjects in the Intermediate Board Examination. So students can check their eligibility and prepare for their exams. All the four subjects have to be given importance and prepared with comprehensive understanding which will help to have a grip of the subject. 

3. What are the topics in the KVPY SX stream?

The KVPY SX syllabus comprises all the chapters and the topics covered in class 10, 11 and 2 standards. The subject in the SX stream is Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics. All the syllabus are the same but only class 12 syllabus are added in the SX stream. Students have to be well prepared for the topics in each subject.
