The International Olympiad of Mathematics is conducted to bring out the best candidates with their exceptional analytical and reasoning skills. All the students belonging from classes 1-12 are eligible to apply and appear for the exam. Eligibility Criteria - Level 1
The level 1 exams for the IOM allows the students from classes 1-12 to apply and register for the exam, with no consideration of their marks. Along with this, the students in foreign lands are also given equal opportunities to sit for the exam.
Eligibility Criteria -Level 2 Examination.
With the qualification in the first round, the candidates get promoted to wait for the level 2 examination, provided that they present a maximum performance in their level 1 examination.
Only those candidates in the top 5% spectrum will be allowed to sit for the level 2 exam from each class of the schools participating.
The toppers representing every school will be given the chance to sit for the examination, given that they have a minimum of 75% qualifying marks.
It is evident that only the top rank holders will be taken into consideration while applying for the section-wise registration.
