PRMO 2023-24 Results
Since 2020, the formally known PRMO exam has been changed to the first stage test of IOQM. The Indian Olympiad Qualifier in Mathematics (IOQM) is a three-hour long exam conducted by the Mathematics Teachers Association (India)(MTA)(I). IOQM syllabus and examination format will be similar to PRMO this year. Recently, HBCSE announced IOQM 2023-24 result on October 2023. Pre RMO 2023-24 results (now IOQM) will be recognized by the Homi Bhabha Center for Science Education for the subsequent selection process of IMO. Pre RMO examination is the first level of the Indian Mathematical Olympiad program. Candidates will be notified of the date on which HBCSE will publish the Pre RMO result on the designated website for the Pre RMO examination. The merit lists with the details of qualifying candidates will be sent to every regional coordinator of the Pre RMO (Pre Regional Mathematical Olympiad) examination. Also, candidates can find the merit list along with the Pre RMO 2023-24 results online.
The merit list for Pre RMO 2023-24 results will display the results of candidates in a region-wise manner. For every region listed under the merit list, the roll numbers of qualifying candidates will be grouped according to their class or grade. Scroll down to find the merit list for your respective region.
Click on the class or class group applicable to you.
You will be redirected to the merit list PDF and it will be displayed on your screen.

2. When will the Pre RMO Results be Released?
Ans: The Pre RMO examination has been replaced by IOQM since 2020. The result for IOQM (erstwhile Pre RMO) 2023-24 has been announced by HBCSE on October 2023. To download the result and merit list students can check mtai.org.in.
3. How Many Students will be Selected in the Pre RMO 2023-24 Result?
Ans: Nearly 300 students from classes 8, 9, 10, 11 will be selected in the Pre RMO 2023-24 result, from every participating region. About 60 students per region will be selected from among those appearing in Pre RMO 2023-24 from class 12. All students selected in the Pre RMO 2021 will be eligible for appearing in the Regional Mathematical Olympiad of this year. Students may expect to receive a copy of their answered OMR sheets if the Pre RMO 2023-24 exam is conducted in a pen and paper format.
4. Where can I get the Cut-Off Marks for Pre RMO 2023-24?
Ans: The cut-off marks for Pre RMO 2023-24 will be released along with the region-wise merit list of the examination. The cut-off marks vary for every region and when you view the PDF of qualifying candidates for your region, you can find the cut-off marks right at the top of every page of the PDF. The total number of qualifying candidates for a region is also mentioned in the file along with the cut-off marks.
5. When will the Answer key to the Pre RMO exam be released?
Ans: The answer key to the Pre RMO exam is announced to be released in the month of September 2023. The provisional answer key will be out on the September 2023. Candidates will be able to access the official answer key online from the official website of the Pre Regional Mathematics Olympiad (PRMO).
