An annual online tournament in India is called the National Cyber Olympiad, and it is available to participants of all ages. It provides a setting where students from various academic fields can learn and develop their skills in order to advance their education. The cybergames are being held in the Department of Computer Science at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur. The National Cyber Olympiad (NCO) test is administered by the Science Olympiad Foundation. Schools can apply to take the exam, and students can take the test at their school. The exam results are available on the Science Olympiad Foundation's official website. By providing their roll numbers, students may obtain their results. They are assigned to their respective ranks based on their grades. At each stage of the examination, students are given prizes. Schools will also get feedback on student performance from a representative of the Science Olympiad Foundation.

The NCO is conducted twice a year on two dates provided to the school to select any one. Schools select one of these dates as per their convenience hence the  tentative date is officially recognized by the school for students.

Olympiad NCO 2023-24 Result Analysis

The official website  SOF NCO 2023-24 result. By entering the roll number provided on the admission card or by visiting the school website, students can check the result of the NCO test 2023-24 results. Each student will receive a "SPR," or Student Performance Report, as well as a participation certificate. Your NCO 2023-24 level 1 result qualifies you for the scholarship.

NSO High Rank Holding Class

If two or more students receive the same grade, the students who received the highest grade in the high-priority part will be given the rank. The section's priority is as follows:

  • Achievers are given top consideration.

  • Computer and information technology are of medium importances

  • Logical and analytical thinking are given a low emphasis.


The Factors that Determine the Cutoff

The NCO cutoff points differ according to the following factors:

  • The number of applications received so far.

  • The total number of students who sat for the NCO test.

  • The difficulty level of the question paper.

  • The total number of seats available is unknown.


Details that you have to provide in SOF NCO Results are:

  1. Student’s name

  2. Student’s parent’s name

  3. Roll number of the student

  4. Student’s school name

  5. School address

  6. Qualifying status for next round

  7. School rank

  8. International rank

  9. Exam name and Conducting authority.


The Student Performance Report (SPR) is Divided into Five Sections:

Section 1: At an international level, delivers the student's grades and rank attained in SchooL, City, Zone and Region.

Section 2: Analyses a student's previous performance year by year.

Section 3: Gives a study of the student's percentage score with comparisons at the class, city, zone, and worldwide levels.

Section 4: Presents an analysis of average marks at the school, city, zone, and worldwide levels.

Section 5: Evaluate each student's performance on each topic.


Rewards at the School Level

Exam reward will be given to each winner. Only the higher level award will be given to the winners. For example, the top three international rank holders will be eligible for rewards depending on their international positions. Awards for Zonal rankings will be distributed to the next rank holder. Similarly, a Zonal award winner's class award will be presented to the next rank holder.


  • Medals for School/Class Toppers

1. Each student who received a perfect score will be eligible for the medal.

2. Gold Medal of Excellence are given to the top rank holder in class.

3. For groups of 10 to 25 students taking the exam/class, a Gold Medal of Excellence will be awarded to the top three rank holders in the class.

4. If there are more than 25 students taking the exam/class, the top 10% of the class will receive a Gold Medal of Excellence.


  • Student Performance Report (SPR) for all participating student

1. A Student Performance Report is sent to every student who appears in SOF NCO (SPR). An SPR is a comprehensive examination of a student's performance in the first level Olympiad test.

2. SPR's goal is to offer an analysis of the student's answers with the student and her or his parents. This is meant to help the student identify her or his strengths and areas for progress both in absolute terms and in comparison to the thousands of kids in her or his class who competed in the Olympiad.


  • Participation Certification

1. Each student who participated in the National Cyber Olympiad (NCO) will get certificates from the Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF)

2. Medals of Distinction will be awarded to the top 25 rank holders in each class and an Olympiad test. This will apply to champions from 26 Zones who excelled in 1st level Olympiads/single level Olympiads.
