1. What is the exam pattern of IBO?

IBO students who are worried about the exam pattern must have a look at the IBO question paper. IBO consists of two exams. 

The first one is a theoretical exam which has two tests. Both tests are paper-based. Questions are asked in various formats, including MCQs, true/false, calculations, drawing diagrams, data and graph analysis.

Animal Anatomy and Physiology, Structure and function of tissues and organs involved in digestion and nutrition, respiration, circulation, regulation consists of 25% weightage.

Cell Biology, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Structure and function of cells consists of 20% weightage. Plant Anatomy and Physiology, Structure and function of tissues and organs involved in photosynthesis, transpiration of gas exchange, reproduction (ferns and mosses included), transport of water consists of 15% weightage.

Ecology, eco-system, energy flow, biosphere and man, food relationships consist of 10% of weightage. Ethology, behavioural systems consist of 5% weightage.
