• Candidates must have passed the 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, and English, along with either Biology or Biotechnology as the subjects.

• A minimum of 50% overall marks is required in the examination. However, this requirement is relaxed to 40% for SC/ST candidates and 45% for physically handicapped candidates.
