Most students prepare easily for the Biology component, but many struggles with the Physics and Chemistry portions. Some students do not prepare for their medical tests in any way. They believe that Chemistry is a difficult and broad topic and that the Chemistry curriculum for medical tests is difficult. But, in actuality, Chemistry is a relatively simple and high-scoring subject. You can do well in AIIMS if you study with the correct plan and the appropriate study material. Here is a technique for studying Chemistry for AIIMS and other medical exams.

Chemistry for the medical test is divided into three sections: Physical, Inorganic, and Organic. In the NEET, AIIMS, and JIPMER medical examinations, each component is given equal weightage.

Physical Chemistry is mostly a numerical subject, thus you must concentrate on computation and application of principles.

Inorganic Chemical is concerned with fundamental Chemistry topics such as electronic configuration, periodicity, compound structure, and hybridization. You must memorize certain information and use them while answering questions.

Organic Chemistry is the study of organic compound reactions. You will need to understand various kinds of reactions, reaction mechanisms, intermediate stability, and key chemical concepts such as resonance, inductive effect, and hyperconjugation.

Tips for Exam Preparation:

The smart study is the best method to prepare - hours and hours of study are useless if they are unfocused or poorly organized. Here are some recommendations for preparing for the AIIMS MBBS Entrance Exam:

  • Make sure you understand the fundamentals of Physics, Chemistry, and Biology from your Class 11 and 12 board curriculum.

  • There are questions from all three parts of the Class 12 board: Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. Revise crucial equations and have an excellent knowledge of high school grade math if you are from a non-math subject at the 10+2 level. Understanding common jargon is essential.

  • Concentration is essential throughout the test. Find out more about how to enhance your focus. Revise and revise again. Before you begin taking mock exams, you must go through at least 3-4 revisions.

  • One month before the exam, take practice exams (of the same three and a half hour duration). Purchase objective literature and practice responding to questions.

  • Answer the questions one at a time, and after you're done, correct your answers. Determine how many questions you answered wrong.

  • Identify trouble areas and modify them before moving on to the following chapter or part. Examine your knowledge of certain subjects.

  • Obtain a sample test for the subject once you believe you are doing well in it. Evaluate your performance and, if necessary, revise further.

  • Many candidates prepare by working with coaching facilities or individual tutors. You are free to do so but first, determine your requirements.

  • Don't stock up on books. It is preferable to read one book ten times than ten novels once. Sample exam questions can help you get a sense of what the test will be like.

  • Make a point of going over them before the exam. Just before the test, stop reading new basics. One month before the exam, focus on taking mock examinations and reviewing what you've learned.

  • Arrive at the test centre at least 30-40 minutes early to prevent any last-minute problems. Before heading for the examination centre, have a small snack.

  • This is essential for staying motivated throughout examinations. Carry a water bottle with you throughout the test; this will not only quench your thirst but will also help you keep a calm demeanour.
