Syllabus for the AIIMS Medical exam is as prescribed by AIIMS, New Delhi. It is an online mode of examination that lasts for three hours and thirty minutes. The medium of instruction is in two languages- English and Hindi. The exam is conducted twice a day, once in the morning and another during the evening. The morning shift is from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm and the evening shift is from 3:00 pm to 6:30 pm. The paper contains a total of 200 questions which are multiple-choice questions and reason-assertion. One mark is given for every correct answer and for every wrong answer one-third mark is deducted.

3. What is the quality and marking scheme of AIIMS Question Papers? 

It is considered to be of the average level of difficulty. It varies every year. There are a total of 160 MCQs and 60 reason- assertion based questions. Physics, Chemistry and Biology consists of 60 marks each, 10 marks for General knowledge and 10 marks for Aptitude and logical thinking.

Solving previous years question papers will help the student in better preparation for their exam. It gives an idea of how much the student is well aware of and how much they still need to practise. It improves your time management skills as well.
