Q1. How Many Laws are There in Thermodynamics?

Ans: There were three fundamental laws in Thermodynamics traditionally, that was known as the first law, the second law and the third law of Thermodynamics. Later more fundamental statements were labelled as the zeroth law. This law which is known as the zeroth law defines equilibrium and forms the basis of temperature.

Q4. Explain the Second Law.

Ans: The second law states that the processes that involve heat energy are irreversible. It also states that of any isolated system there is a natural tendency to degenerate into a disordered state.
