JEE Advanced is the second and final examination for students to get admission in any of the prestigious IITs in India. Examinees ranking above 2,24,000 in the JEE Mains are eligible for this final test in 2019, and a few thousands from the qualified are chosen for counselling and placements.

JEE Advanced cut off 2019

The JEE Advanced cut off 2019 will be released online only, after the examination. Candidates can access the numbers by logging in with their JEE Advanced login credentials.

The authorities will be releasing two cut-offs – 

  • a. The qualifying cut off - It qualifies a candidate for the examination. Meaning, candidates will be considered for admission to one of the IITs only if they secure higher marks than the cut-off.

  • b. Admission cut off - It increases the chances of candidates to get admission to their preferred course in their chosen institute.

  • However, All India Ranking secured by a candidate will gain the highest weightage in the admission process. Hence, the higher ranking a candidate secures, the better chances he/she carries in securing a seat as placement entirely depends on this factor only.

    Note that the JEE Advanced cut off will vary as per the course, institute, and category were chosen by the candidate when seeking admission in one of the participating IITs.

    Cut off for JEE Advanced – The deciding factors

    Qualification for JEE Advanced
