List of Chief Ministers of Rajasthan

The Chief Minister of a state is the head of the State Government appointed by the Governor. As per the Constitution of India, a list of Chief Ministers of Rajasthan is the de facto executive authority of the State. The term of the Chief Minister is not fixed and he can hold the office as per the discretion of the governor. However, the Governor cannot dismiss a Chief minister as long as there is majority support for the CM in the legislative assembly. But, if the Chief Minister loses the confidence of the assembly, he or she must either resign or can be dismissed by the governor.
