SRMJEEE 2022 Eligibility Criteria

One of the first things that an engineering aspirant should go through before applying for the entrance examination is the eligibility criteria asked by the university. An applicant who does not meet the SRMJEEE 2022 eligibility criteria may not be allowed to sit for the entrance examination.

Aspirants need to meet the below-mentioned parameters before carrying out the SRMJEEE 2022 application process for the entrance examination – 

  • Nationality: To be eligible to sit for the SRMJEEE entrance examination, candidates should be residents Indians, non-resident Indians or hold OCI or PIO cards issued by the Government of India.

  • Qualifying Marks and School Board: Applicants need to secure a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in their 10+2 examination from any board in India which include CBSE, ICSE, state boards or NIOS. 

Applicants who are sitting for their 10 +2 in 2022 can also apply for the SRMJEEE 2022 application process. 

Students from international schools who have an A+ in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, or a diploma with an international baccalaureate are also eligible to apply for SRMJEEE.

  • Age Requirements: Candidates who fall between the age brackets of July 1, 1999, to July 4, 2000, are eligible to appear for SRMJEEE.

Aside from the above eligibility criteria, one of the main SRMJEEE 2022 highlights is that some applicants fulfilling certain conditions are eligible for direct admission to B.Tech courses. These conditions include –

  • Secured top ranks in their 10+2 board examination

  • Secured a position within the first 1000 in JEE

  • Excellent record in sports at national or international level

SRMJEEE 2022 Application Process

If you have not applied yet for SRMJEEE, you can do so since the application for entrance examination is still on-going. Besides that, you can choose to fill up and submit your application form via either offline or online application mode, as per your convenience.

1. Online Application Process 

Go through the following steps to know the online application procedure for SRMJEEE 2022 – 

  1. Registration Process - Candidates should first register by providing their name, email ID, and phone number.  They should activate their account by clicking on a link that will be sent to them in their email. 

  2. Fill up of Online Application Form - Candidates need to visit the official website of SRMJEEE using their login credentials. After logging in, you need to fill up the online application form by entering the requisite details. While filling out the application form, candidates should also select three exam centres as per their convenience. 

  3. Submission and Fee Payment - Applicants have to upload their photograph and signature and submit the form only after verifying all information entered in the application form.

If you are submitting the form online, you can do so by paying the fee through any online payment options. If however, you want to submit it offline, follow the below steps – 

  • Download the application form

  • Write out a demand draft to SRMIST or SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Kattankulathur.

  • Send the application form along with the demand draft to the Director of Admissions, SRMIST.

2. Offline Application Process

Applicants, who wish to complete the application process in an offline mode need to collect the form from the university, fill it up and submit it to the university along with the application fee.
