Tie-Breaking Criteria for AP POLYCET Rank Card or Result 2020
In many cases, there are chances that two candidates score equal marks in AP POLYCET. It becomes really difficult to allot ranks for those candidates with a similar score in AP POLYCET. In order to resolve this kind of situation, SBTET has set a specific chronology to be followed, that is, tie-breaking criteria. The tie-breaking criteria for AP POLYCET 2020 have been mentioned below.
Firstly, marks of the students in the Mathematics section of AP POLYCET will be considered for breaking the tie, a higher marks scorer will be allotted higher rank to the candidate.
If the tie prevails after the consideration of mathematics marks, the marks of candidates in the Physics section of AP POLYCET will be taken into consideration.
If there is still a tie after following the above-mentioned steps, the date of birth of the candidate will be taken into consideration. The candidate who is older will get the preference in the allotment of a higher rank position
