What After NEET 2022 Exam?

Once the NEET 2022 results are out, students need to do two important things:


1. Calculate the NEET Score

Students can use this formula to calculate NEET score:

Total Marks = (Number of correct answers)x4 – (Number of incorrect answers)x1


2. Predict NEET 2022 Rank

What After Qualifying the NEET Exam?

Candidates who qualify the NEET 2022 exam will be eligible to take part in the counselling process at the national, state, and AIQ levels. The NTA will compile a list of NEET-UG qualified candidates. Students must register at the MCC portal to participate in the counselling and seat allocation process.


The NEET counselling will be conducted by MCC for 15% of the All India Quota, deemed/central universities/AFMS, and ESIC institutes. During the MBBS counselling process, students must be updated with NEET-related information, pay the counselling fee, and fill out their course and college preferences. Depending on the options filled by applicants, NEET AIR, reservation criteria, and seat matrix, MCC will conduct the NEET UG seat allotment. Eligibility for NEET 2022 Counselling

  • All candidates who clear the NEET 2022 exam will be eligible to apply for the NEET 2022 counselling.

  • Under AIQ, the ministry/MCC publishes a suitable list of qualified candidates.

  • There are two types of eligibility criteria: general criteria and criteria specific to central universities.

  • Candidates from different categories have different general NEET eligibility criteria, such as the minimum percentage required.

  • A candidate in the general category must have a NEET score of at least 50%. To be eligible for NEET counselling in 2022, General-PWD candidates must score 45%, while SC/ST/OBC candidates must score 40%.
