FAQs on Bihar Board (BSEB) Class 12 Physics Latest Syllabus 2023-24

1. Apart from conducting board exams, what programs does BSEB organizes?

Besides conducting the Board exams, Bihar Board also organizes the following programs:

  • Diploma in Physical Education (Phy. Ed).

  • Certificate in Physical Education.

  • Teacher Training Program and these programs are not yearly based.

2. If two thin lenses of powers 6 D and 4 D are aligned at a distance 15 cm apart, find the power of the combination of lenses.

P1 = 6 D, P2 = 4 D, d = 15 cm or 0.15 m

The formula for the power of combination of thin lenses is:

P1 + P2 - dP1P2

= 6 + 4 - 0.15 * 6 * 4

PowerCOMBINATION OF LENSES = 10 - 3.6 = 6.4 D

3. Define the term ‘Modulation.’ Mention its types.

In electronics & Communication, modulation is the procedure of converting data/message into radio waves by adding information to an electronic/optical carrier signal optimized for transmission.

The following are the types of modulation:

  • Amplitude Modulation

  • Frequency Modulation

  • Phase Modulation

4. Define the term Shunt. Write its two uses.

A low resistance wire that is connected in parallel with the circuit is called a shunt. Its uses are:

  • Protecting the coil of a galvanometer from high currents.

  • For transforming a Galvanometer into an Ammeter.
