Another important qualification that will be considered by InChO is that, if a student represents India on the global level in International Chemistry Olympiad (IChO) in the previous year, can get direct entry in InChO. This particular student need not qualify for the NSE exam. Also, this is to be kept in mind, that the student also fulfils other criteria of age, class, etc. that is applicable for InChO.

It is advisable to make a proper routine for oneself before starting the preparation. This will lead to a strategic preparation with a detailed analysis of all the contents in a particular chapter. This plays a big role and is an added advantage while covering the entire syllabus. A part unknown to one can be easily solved by the other. In this way, not a single portion of the chapter remains untouched.

Along with everything, students are also advised not to study at a long stretch, instead take frequent breaks in between to make the process much more interesting. In the midst of such breaks, students can nurture their passion which might include reading books, listening to music or even writing poetry. Involving in such a pastime leads to a lot of refreshment and helps candidates to focus better during the examination.

The last few days should be kept for revision entirely and students cannot afford to fall sick during this time. That is why proper food and a night of sound sleep is extremely essential to have a calm and composed mind right before the arrival of the examination.
