MBBS / BDS Admission through NEET

Result of NEET forms the basis for admission to MBBS/BDS in colleges across India. There will be one particular centralized counselling for 15% All India Quota seats. States and some institutions will hold counselling for the remaining left out seats. Applicants who have appeared for National Eligibility Entrance Test and got qualified in it with minimum percentile cut off marks, can participate in NEET Counselling and get MBBS or BDS Admission Through NEET examination. Candidates who got selected have to apply for counselling (15% AIQ, state, institute) where he or she wishes to get a medical or dental seat as per the rank. CBSE conducts the National Eligibility Entrance Test and declares the result after the examination. After that its liability ends at providing merit list to Directorate General of Health Sciences, New Delhi for counselling of 15% All India Quota seats and to State Counselling Authorities and admitting institutions.

Admission Process for BDS After NEET

The Medical Counselling Committee will release the NEET counselling result of seat allotment after every round of counselling. It releases along with the form of a list which is followed by the seat allotment letter to the selected candidates. Candidates should report to their allotted NEET BDS colleges with the letter and other documents to complete the admission process. Applicants can also check the NEET 2020 seat intake to know the total number of seats offered by various colleges.
