Directorate of Medical Education and Research (DMER), Haryana, is the governing board which is responsible for releasing the Haryana MBBS 2020. The merit list will be released tentatively in the second week of July. A list of non-eligible students will also be released along with the merit list of the candidates. Applicants who are included in the merit list of Haryana MBBS 2020 must proceed with document verification process according to the schedule.

For every round of counselling, a separate merit list will be released for the Haryana MBBS, this also includes the mop-up round. The merit list is prepared based on NEET 2020 scores. Students whose names are mentioned in the merit list for a specific round will be eligible for Haryana MBBS admission 2020. Counselling for 15% All India Quota seats are mentioned below:
The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) conducts the counselling for All India Seats. All the medical universities such as central, state and deemed will be a part of NEET online counselling process. Applicants can apply to this quota as per the directions given by the Directorate General of Health Services. Whereas, the counselling will be stopped once the seats are filled up.
Seats of ESIC, AMU, BHU and AFMC are also filled through this counselling process. Aspirants can get enrolled in any of the medical universities or colleges in India through counselling. Candidates can also take part in their respective state counselling.
Counselling for 85% All India Quota seats are mentioned below:
This 85% of the quota is about the state NEET counselling 2019. For this, the candidates have to register with their individual state’s official NEET counselling website. State NEET counselling authorities will prepare a merit list as per the rules of the state and the All India Rank.
The NEET Counselling for private colleges are also included in it and they also take part in this state-level counselling process. Moreover, for states such as Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Jammu and Kashmir who cannot apply for the All India Quota, the state counselling is the only option.
NEET Haryana merit list consists of names of the candidates who are qualified for the counselling process. The names of the candidates are provided in the order of the ranks they have achieved. On the whole, there are three types of merit lists:

AIQ Merit List
State Merit List
There is a high chance of getting the same score among the candidates. In this case, the rank is decided based on the following criteria:
The student who secured higher marks in Biology.
The candidate who scored higher marks in Chemistry.
The candidate who has procured less negative marks.
An applicant who is older.
Haryana NEET 2020 Merit List- Tie-breaking method
In such conditions, if two or more students who get the same scores in NEET, the tie-breaking procedure will be followed in the below given sequence:
The applicants who get a high score in Biology will be ranked higher
The candidate who scores high in Chemistry gets higher rank
If still, the tie break is not decided, the medical aspirants with less number of errors will be ranked higher in Haryana MBBS 2020 merit list
Finally, if the tie is still not decided, then the age of the applicant will be taken into consideration, with the older candidate to be ranked higher.
DMER will be conducting the counselling process of Haryana MBBS 2020 which includes two normal rounds of counselling which is followed by a mop-up round. The first and second rounds will be conducted in the mode of online, further, the mop-up round will be conducted manually. After the completion of the counselling process, the seat allotted for the candidates will be processed for the Haryana MBBS/BDS courses. The counselling process is open only for candidates who have qualified in NEET examination.
