The independent department that functions under the Ministry of Secondary Education, Government of Kerala undertakes this Class 12 examination every year. The KBPE well regulates and supervises the system of education.

Class 12 Economics question paper of KBPE is widely accessed to all the students of Kerala. The question paper is devised and is to be followed by the students to prepare for the board’s exams methodically. Question papers help the student to boost their preparation and to gain confidence in the subject matter which will eventually help them to give their exams in a hassle-free mind.

## KBPE Class 12 Economics Question Paper 2020

### Question Paper Pattern

There are a total of 36 questions.

In the 1 mark questions, students need to answer any 10 questions, out of Class 12 questions.

From questions 13 to 18, students need to answer any 5 questions each carrying 2 marks.

From question number 19 to 25, students need to answer any 6 questions, these carry 3 marks each.

Next, there are long answer type questions from 31 to 33, students need to opt 2 questions which consist of 5 marks each.

Very long type questions which carry 8 marks each, from question number 34 to 36, here students need to choose by answering only 2 questions.

### How to Attempt the Question Paper

In the instructions itself, the students are given a brief knowledge on how to present and maintain the decor in the exam. Any required calculations, graphs, equations or any other rough work are to be shown in the answer sheet neatly. Malayalam version of the paper can also be referred to.

1. How Should I Revise the Subject a Night Before the Exam?

Ans. In the revision time, more and first importance is to be given to those chapters which carry the maximum marks. Also, the textbook is to be referred frequently for any doubt during the revision. Solving the past question papers, like one given is the best way to prepare and revise for the exam.

2. How to Write Long Answers in a Better Manner?

Ans. In Economics, present all your answers with logic, this is to be done with data facts, and in long answers, insert graphs and charts as much as possible to explain the answer aptly. Firstly, to suggest never deviate from the topic. Stick to the topic, read the question not once but twice or thrice, then start the answer without beating around the bush.

Give a brief introduction about the main subject intended in the question, then answer to what is exactly asked with supporting calculations or equations, diagrams or charts. In the concluding part give a snapshot of your answer and your views if required in such questions, this is a good manner to represent long answers in Economics.

3. In Economics, How to Understand the Graphs Properly?

Ans. To understand the graphs first the students should understand the main text properly, as this is the base for the diagrams or graphs. After reading students should draw the graph as guided and mark each point in the graph as done in the textbook, this way they can correctly understand the graphs step by step.
