Benefits of Understanding JEE Main Exam Pattern

  • Candidates will have two chances to improve their exam marks if they are unable to put their best effort in the first attempt. So, it helps them understand how to prepare for JEE Mains

  • Students will gain first-hand experience taking an examination on their first attempt and will be aware of their mistakes, which they can correct on their second attempt.

  • No one knows how much time is required to prepare for JEE Mains, so it’s always better to start a JEE study plan as soon as possible.

  • This will lower the risk of dropping a year, and droppers will not have to waste a whole year.

  • If someone misses the exam due to situations beyond their control, they will not have to wait a year.

  • A candidate is not required to attend all sessions. If a candidate appears in more than one session, the best of his or her JEE Main 2022 NTA Scores will be taken into account for generating the merit list.

Select JEE Main Books Wisely

  • Concepts of Physics by H. C. Verma.

  • Understanding Physics by DC Pandey.

  • Cengage Maths by G TIWANI.

  • Comprehensive Mathematics for JEE Advanced by Tata McGraw Hill publications.

  • NCERT Textbook.

  • Problems in Physical Chemistry for JEE (Main & Advanced) by Narendra Awasthi.

  • Organic Chemistry by Morrison and Boyd for Organic Chemistry.

Important Guidelines on How to Prepare for JEE Mains

  • In your preparation for the Time Table for JEE Preparation, avoid having many books and materials for the same subject. In most situations, an IIT JEE coaching study book that covers the entire syllabus is sufficient.

  • Remove all potential sources of distraction from your studies.

  • Develop an equal amount of enthusiasm for all three PCM subjects.

  • It is not advisable to 'measure' the amount of hours spent learning. Instead, anytime you open your book for a study session, you should do so with complete focus. However, according to research, a minimum of 4-6 hours each day for JEE preparation is recommended.

  • It would be easier to solve the different types of questions on the exam if you have a clear understanding of the ideas.

  • Consider problem-solving a part of your everyday study routine. It will not be sufficient to simply cover the theory. Try to come up with solutions as quickly as possible.

  • If there are any, consider using easy problem-solving methods. Always try to find a balance between speed and accuracy.

  • Make a list of key terms, formulas, and reactions.

  • Have all of the previous year's JEE questions on hand and begin solving them.

  • Take mock tests to obtain a better understanding of the exam, including the question paper structure, types of questions, difficulty level, and more.

  • Always review your performance, particularly your mistakes. Work on improving your weak areas for the next round once you've found them.

  • It is necessary to maintain consistency.

  • Another important consideration is to include a dedicated revision time in your JEE preparation strategy.

  • Clear up any doubts or questions you may have as soon as possible. Seek support from teachers, mentors, and even friends.
