1. Is Barium Bromide Acidic or Basic in Nature?
Barium is an alkaline metal, and so it is very common for it to form Ba²⁺ ions. It is similar to the halogen bromine that forms Br⁻. Thus when Bromine combines with Barium metal, it forms a salt. So, this salt of barium falls for its neutral nature. Hence, It is neither acidic nor basic. Finally, it forms BaBr₂.
