The exchange of goods and services especially on a large scale is known as Commerce. Legal, economic, political, social, cultural and technological systems that operate in a country or international trade are included in it.

In the sense of economics, "commerce" refers to the conduct of trade among economic agents. Generally, commerce affects the welfare and well-being of citizens as it directly impacts people’s money as well as job opportunities. The introduction of currency as standardized money in historic times facilitated the wider exchange of services and goods. Collections of tokens which Numismatists have included coins from some Ancient-World large-scale societies. Although unmarked lumps of precious metal were involved in initial usage. This means that even if there were no notes or coins, people used precious metals like Gold, Silver etc. They attached a value to it and then used them for exchange in return for commodities.
