The King’s Promise

No one dared to rescue the princess as the ogre had a fearful reputation. He killed anyone approaching his castle brutally.

The king declared whoever rescues the princess would be rewarded in gold. News spread across the world. Several knights appeared in the royal court and told the king not to worry. They will team up and save the princess.

The king gave his word to the knight. The knights marched towards the castle. It took them seven days to reach the castle.

The Dragon’s Feat

The knights made a plan to approach the castle and kill the ogre. They did not consider the size and strength of the ogre at all.

The moment they approached the castle, the raging ogre appeared and frightened all the knights to their core. They all fled from the castle, leaving the princess helpless. The ogre laughed at the coward knights. He was all alone and successfully defended his castle.

The princess was crying for help. One day, a dragon was passing by above the castle. He heard a cry from a distance. He carefully listened and understood someone was in distress. He spotted a princess being imprisoned by an ogre in the castle.

He stopped and came closer to the castle. He demanded the ogre release the princess. The ogre did not wait and attacked the dragon with his huge mace.

The dragon inhaled a lot of air and blew it on the ogre. Surprisingly, the dragon was much stronger than the ogre. The sudden gust of wind made the ogre fly away and fall far away into the ocean. He did not know how to swim and drowned.
