Juniper Tree Summary

There was a stunning forest consisting of tall, lush trees. These trees were all enormous, erect, and had lovely branches. But one of these trees had twisted branches out of all the others. Whose name was Juniper? It stood much lower than the other trees and was unique. It despised itself because it was twisted and ugly.

The bent tree was ridiculed and insulted by all the other trees in the forest, who referred to it as an ugly tree. He was embarrassed by how unattractive he was and envious of all the other trees in the forest. Oh! He groaned and said. Take a look at those big trees. I wished I had their beauty. I detest my twisted and bent branches. There were dry leaves under the juniper tree. Juniper saw them when he got upset.

A woodcutter arrived in the forest one day to chop some trees. As soon as he saw the unsightly tree, he said, "Look at this twisted and crooked tree. Cutting down this tree will serve no use and won't be of any assistance to me. I should chop all the tall trees down.

The woodcutter soon chopped down all of the trees. He exited the woodland, avoiding the unattractive crooked tree. The tree turned to look around and discovered that all of its neighbours had been entirely felled. It now saw the significance of his twisted and crooked branches. It praised God for giving it twisted branches and for sparing it from being chopped down because of them.

As a result, the bent tree discovered a fundamental lesson and vowed never to resent its crooked branches and always be grateful to God.
