There is always a possibility that more than one student will get similar marks in the NEET 2024. In such cases, there will be tie-breaking criteria to apply. The rules of tie-breaking are as follows:

Marks Obtained in Biology

Among the students who scored the same in NEET 2024, the one with higher marks in Biology will be given first preference and placed accordingly in the Tripura MBBS merit list 2024.

Marks Obtained in Chemistry 

If even after considering the biology marks the tie remains the student with higher marks in Chemistry will be given preference.

Negative Answers

In case the tie still remains among students with the same NEET rank and score, the weightage will be given to the (lesser) number of negative answers. One who gave less number of negative answers in the exam will be given more preference.

Age of the Candidate
