The Karnataka examination authority (KEA) board, Bangalore would be releasing the application form of Karnataka MBBS. The Karnataka MBBS application form will be provided by the authority board on the official website – cetonline.karnataka.gov.in. Karnataka MBBS Eligibility Criteria 2024

  • Applicants must and should be at least 17 years of age while applying for NEET 2024.

  • According to the latest update, the upper age has been removed but the final decision will be totally taken on the basis of the Supreme Court’s order.

  • The educational qualification will remain the same as stated by the National Testing Agency (NTA).

  • Candidates have to secure the minimum percentile in NEET 2024 as per their category to be qualified. 

  • The criteria of domicile should be fulfilled by the candidates who are applying for the admissions in Karnataka MBBS especially for the government seats.

  • Government seats include the 85% state quota seats of government colleges and a certain percent of private and minority colleges.

 

All India NEET Counselling 2024

Counselling for 15% All India Quota Seats are Mentioned Below: 

The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) will be conducting the counselling process under All India Seats. All the medical universities such as central, state and deemed will be a part in NEET online counselling process. Applicants can apply to this quota as per the directions given by the Directorate General of Health Services. Whereas, the counselling will be stopped once the seats are filled up. 

 

Seats of ESIC, AMU, BHU and AFMC are also filled through this counselling process. Aspirants can get enrolled in any of the medical universities or colleges in India through counselling. Candidates can also take part in their respective state counselling. 

 

Counselling for 85% State Quota Seats

This 85% of the quota is about the state NEET counselling 2024. For this, the candidates have to register with their individual state’s official NEET counselling website. State NEET counselling authorities will prepare a merit list as per the rules of the state and the All India Rank.   

 

The NEET Counselling for private colleges are also included in it and they also take part in this state-level counselling process. Moreover, for states such as Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Jammu and Kashmir who cannot apply for the All India Quota, the state counselling is the only option.

Registration for Karnataka MBBS Application Form 2024

The below-given steps should be followed by the candidates to fill out the Karnataka MBBS Registration Form:

  1. First, click on the ‘New Registration’ to get registered online for Karnataka MBBS admissions 2024.

  2. Fill in all the required details such as name, parent’s name, mobile number, address, email ID and security code (captcha). 

  3. You will be provided with a provisional registration number and password which will be generated after registering. The login details along with the provisional registration number and password will be sent to you via mail which you have mentioned at the time of registering.

  4. Candidates have to save all the information and then proceed to the next step.

 

Karnataka NEET Counselling 2024: Selection & Admission Procedure

The counselling procedure is divided into several steps, which are listed below:

  • Candidates must first register for counselling online.

  • Candidates must complete the application form with all required information.

  • Upload scanned images of your photo, signature, and any other required documents.

  • The counselling fee will be Rs. 1000/- for general and OBC candidates and Rs. 500/- for SC/ST candidates.

  • The fee can be paid with a bank challan.

  • The authority will publish a tentative merit list that includes the names of NEET-qualified candidates who applied in Karnataka.

  • Candidates must then go through the document verification process.

  • Document verification takes place at various locations designated by authorities.

  • Candidates must bring original documents as well as photocopies for verification.

  • College options can be filled by eligible candidates and  Option entry is done online.

  • Seats are assigned to candidates based on their filled options, rank, category, and seat availability.

  • Initially, the counselling authority will release a mock admissions allotment.

  • Candidates who are dissatisfied with their allotment may change their options within the time frame specified.

  • The final allotment result will be published after receiving feedback from the candidates.

  • After seats are assigned, candidates can make payment of their fees and download their admit card from the website and  report to their allotted college with the necessary documents and fees.


Important Points to Remember 

  1. Applicants should apply online for Karnataka NEET, as this is the only other mode of application which is available.

  2. At the time of uploading the signature and photograph of the applicants, they must ensure that their photograph and signature are as per the prescribed specifications given on the official website.

  3. Students should check the eligibility criteria beforehand of the Karnataka MBBS before filling up the application form, so that they can avoid rejection in any of the later stages.

  4. The spelling of the name of the applicant should be correct in the application form and it must be the same as it is on the certificates or the mark sheets.

  5. Make sure to fill in the application form before the last date. 

  6. Applicants do not have to send the printout of the Indian Bank PO application form to the authorities or to the conducting board.
