Jharkhand MBBS Eligibility Criteria 2023

The applicants should meet the following eligibility criteria before filling out the Jharkhand MBBS 2023 application form.

• Candidates should belong to Indian Citizenship. A candidate who holds an Overseas Citizen of India Card can also apply.

• The candidate’s age must be 17 years or more as of December 31, 2023, and they must not be more than 25 years as of May 7, 2023. There is an age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ ST categories, i.e., SC/ ST candidates. They can apply till 30 years of age.

• Applicants should be residents of Jharkhand.

• Candidates should have qualified Class 12 exam with the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Biotechnology, and English from a board recognized by the Central/State government.

• Candidates must have cleared the Class 12 board examination with a combined aggregate of 50% in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. There is a relaxation of 5%for PWD Candidates and 10% for OBC/ SC/ ST categories

• Applicants should score the required minimum percentile in NEET 2023.

Jharkhand MBBS Admission 2023 Merit List

The Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB) publishes the Jharkhand MBBS Merit List after completing the Jharkhand MBBS 2023 application process. Candidates will be offered admission to various Medical and Dental colleges of Jharkhand based on the Jharkhand 2023 merit list. 

The authorities will release Jharkhand 2023 merit list considering various factors such as the number of candidates for admission, NEET score, and seat intake. 

Merit List contains the names of the candidates who are eligible for admission. The authorities will also release a rank-wise list of candidates before every counseling session until the seats are filled.
