DU MBBS Admission 2023

Delhi MBBS 2023 admission process, managed by Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) on behalf of  Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will begin in October 2023. There are 660 MBBS seats  and 50 BDS seats available through Delhi MBBS 2023 admission process. DU 2023 MBBS admission process will be arranged for both 15% All India Quota (AIQ) and 85% State Quota seats. Delhi MBBS/BDS Admission 2023: Eligibility Criteria

Education Qualifications: 

Qualifying both  Class 12 and NEET 2023 exam is a must for medical aspirants seeking admission in Delhi MBBS and BDS courses. Candidates must be medically fit before they apply for the DU MBBS/BDS 2023 admission, as there will be a medical checkup before final allotment of seats.

  • Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English must have been part of the curriculum of the student in Class 12.

  • Candidates will have to secure the minimum aggregate marks as per their category i.e. 

    • 50% for general candidates

    • 45% for PH students belonging to the general category, and 

    • 40% for reserved category candidates.

  • Candidates who had previously taken admission in BDS/ MBBS courses and failed to pass the first year exams are not eligible for DU MBBS/BDS 2023 admission process.

  • Nativity/ Domicile Holders: Candidates looking to get admission under 85% state quota seats must have passed Class 12 from schools situated in Delhi NCR. The Class 12 board of education must be CBSE, ICSE, or JMI.

Nationality: Indian national and OCIs are allowed to apply for DU MBBS/BDS 2023 admission process.


Age: Candidate should have obtained or will attain the age of 17 years as on the 31st of December of the year of admission i.e.2023.


Entrance Examination For DU MBBS/BDS 2023 Admission

Candidates aspiring  to take admission in DU college must pass the NEET 2023 exam.

  • In NEET 2023, general medical aspirants must achieve at least a 50th percentile,

  • SC/ST/OBC aspirants must achieve at least 40th percentile

  • General-PH must achieve at least 45th percentile.

  • On the home page itself, you are able to see the direct Online Registration link.

  • Click on the link to apply

  • Now, you will be able to see the application form on your screen.

  • Here, you will be asked to enter personal, communication and academic details.

  • Upload the correct documents

  • After completing the Delhi MBBS 2023 registration procedure successfully, you will be able to check the name of the colleges available where admissions are open. You can select any of your preferred colleges and  courses as seats will be allocated to you as per their choice list given. 

  • After completing the above steps, you have to pay the Delhi MBBS application fees in order to confirm your participation. An application fee of 1000 INR will be charged from the students of both reserved and unreserved category.
