Bepin Babu's doctor was very confused because this was the first case that had come to him as he had only forgotten about the Ranchi trip, rest everything was fine. Later what we find in the chapter is that this was all a plan of Bepin babu’s old friend Chunilal, who needed help with a job and didn’t have any money and Bepin babu didn’t help him. Bepin babu met with Chunilal to confirm that he went to Ranchi and he agreed. Hearing this Bepin babu felt unconscious and fell on the floor.
