JEE Main 2024 Physics Question Paper Analysis 29 January Shift 1

The comprehensive analysis of the JEE Main 2024 Physics Question Paper for the January 29 Shift 1 reveals diverse aspects of the exam. The overall Physics section covered a range of topics with a focus on Optics. While the overall difficulty level was manageable, there were specific questions related to the galvanometer. The numerical problems provided a slight challenge compared to previous years, but the paper as a whole was straightforward with a good mix of difficulty levels.

Level of Difficulty:

• The physics part in Session 1 was generally seen as easy to moderate in difficulty.

• It didn't pose too many challenges overall.

Focus on Topics:

• Optics was a major area from which most of the questions came.

• Mechanics, Electrostatics, and Modern Physics were also key chapters focused on.

Specific Questions:

• Questions arose from all topics equally. Semiconductors, modern physics, atomic structure, galvanometer, thermodynamics, and the photoelectric effect were all discussed. 

• Two questions specifically tested understanding of the galvanometer.

• Most questions were from 12th syllabus than the 11th syllabus.

Student Attempts:

• Some students tried to tackle a good number, attempting around 15 to 16 questions out of the total 25.

Numerical Challenges:

• Numerical problems were a bit more challenging than in previous years.

• They required a bit more thinking and calculation.

Paper Complexity:

• The overall paper was considered simple and straightforward.

• Questions were distributed across various difficulty levels, maintaining a balance.
