Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS) is the responsible authority to release the Punjab MBBS application form 2020. The application form usually gets released in the third week of June. thereafter the aspiring candidates can fill up the application form through online mode. There are certain eligibility criteria to appear for the counselling such as presenting the domicile certificate in order to secure a seat for MBBS/BDS programme in medical institutes in Punjab. Punjab MBBS Application Form - Eligibility Criteria:

All the MBBS/ BDS aspirants should be aware of the eligibility criteria that has been revealed by Baba Farid University of Health Sciences. No matter what their NEET score is, candidates will not get an opportunity if they cannot fulfil the eligibility criteria that have been provided by the BFUHS. There are a set of eligibility criteria and the basic one among them is that the candidates have to appear for the NEET examination.

  • Candidates must fulfil the NEET eligibility criteria as prescribed by the National Testing Agency (NTA) such as Candidates must have passed 10+2 level or equivalent with the PCB subject combination (Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology) along with English as core subjects from a recognized board.

  • Every candidate must be a resident of Punjab or should hold the domicile certificate. However, there are some exceptions as well such as children of any late government employee can fill in the Punjab NEET application form 2020. 

  • Every MBBS/BDS aspirant has to score the minimum cut-off that has been provided in the following.

How to Fill in Punjab MBBS Application Form 2020?

The Punjab MBBS admission application form gets released online by Baba Farid University of Health Sciences in the third week of June as mentioned earlier. Only NEET 2020 qualifiers will be able to fill in the application form online if they match all the eligibility criteria [mentioned in the above]. 

Every candidate must be aware of the deadline and fill out the application form at least one day before the last date to avoid any unnecessary circumstances. While filling up the online application for Punjab MBBS admission, the submission of application fee along with it is also mandatory. Step 1: Online Registration

Registration for Punjab MBBS application will be done in online mode. Here are the steps that a candidate needs to follow in order to complete the online registration. 

  1. Visit the official website of BFUHS.

  2. Click on the MBBS/ BDS option under the ‘Admissions’ tab.

  3. Click on the button named ‘New Registration’.

  4. Enter your details such as name, email address, mobile number

  5. You will get an application number at the end of all these steps.

Step 2: Filling up the Punjab MBBS Application Form

In this step, every candidate must enter their academic details, personal details, contact information, category and NEET details that they also entered during filling in the NEET 2020 application form. All the information should be absolutely correct as there will not be any chance of making any corrections following the final submission of the application form. 

Step 3: Uploading the Required Documents for MBBS Application Form in Punjab

All the candidates have to upload a few documents after filling up the application form including scanned images of passport size photograph, signature and left-hand thumb impression. Size of these documents must not exceed more than 25KB.

Step 4: Payment of Application Fee

Candidates need to pay the application fee of Punjab MBBS application form through net banking or bank-challan. In case of a bank challan, candidates need to take a printout of the challan and will be required to deposit the fee in the University account [as printed on the challan].

Step 5: Print-Out of the Confirmation Page:

After successful completion of all the aforementioned steps, it is mandatory for all the candidates to take at least three to four printouts of Punjab MBBS application form for future reference.

Punjab MBBS Admission Documents Required 2020:

After filling in the application form online, it is mandatory for all the candidates to report to the allotted centres to get their documents verification done. The document verification process for the Punjab MBBS admission takes place in the fourth week of June. However, failing to furnish all the original documents in person at the allotted centres will lead to the cancellation of the further procedure.
