The Commissioner for Entrance Exam (CEE) in Kerala is entrusted with the responsibility to conduct counselling and admission for MBBS and BDS courses in different colleges in the state. This whole process begins with the filling up of an application form for MBBS and BDS issued by this state authoritative body. Admission will be granted through NEET 2023 scores to candidates for 3182 MBBS and 2077 BDS seats offered under 85% state quota by the government and private colleges in the state.

Eligibility Criteria

Students should first check whether they fulfil the eligibility criteria prior to filling up their Kerala MBBS 2023 Application Form. Check out the criteria below –

 

i. Nationality 

The applicant must be an Indian citizen. 

 

ii. Age

Minimum age of an applicant should be no less than 17 years at the time of registering or as of 31st December 2023.

 

iii. Education

Subject combination of Physics, Chemistry, Maths, Biology and English in 12th standard is mandatory. Minimum marks to be obtained are –

  • 50% in aggregate for candidates belonging to the general category;

  • 40% in aggregate for candidates belonging to SC/ST category;

  • 45% in aggregate for candidates belonging to the PWD category.

 

iv. Domicile

Candidates filling the Kerala MBBS Application Form 2023 must be domicile of Kerala. They are eligible for 85% of the seats in every state medical college. However, 15% of the seats are kept for the All-India Quota. 

 

v. NEET qualification

For candidates to participate in the admission process for MBBS in Kerala colleges, NEET qualification is mandatory. A minimum of 50% percentile is required to be considered for counselling. 

 

Steps to Fill Application Form of Kerala MBBS 2023

Candidates should note that the application form will have to be filled up only for selection purposes based on their score in NEET 2023. The steps of filling up Kerala MBBS admission process 2023 are –

 

i. Registration –

The link of the application form will direct you to the registration page, which includes basic details such as the name of an applicant, date of birth, contact number, email ID etc. 

 

After logging in to the access code, a candidate will have to click on the "Register" button, which is followed by a confirmation page.

 

ii. Filling details –

After registration, applicants will be directed to the main page wherein either the MBBS or BDS course will have to be selected. It also requires details on address, academic details of the 12th standard, and quota (if any).

 

iii. Payment of application fee –

A candidate may opt for different modes for paying the application fee. It can be deposited through both online and offline mode. The online mode includes internet banking, debit card, credit card, e-challan etc.

 

iv. Uploading documents –

The candidate will also have to upload scanned documents of left-thumb impression, signature and photograph as per the specification. 

 

v. Printing application form –
