The Commissioner for Entrance Exam in Kerala is entrusted with the responsibility to conduct the counselling and admission for MBBS and BDS courses in different colleges in the state. Eligibility Criteria 

Students should first check whether they fulfil the eligibility criteria prior to filling up their Kerala MBBS 2020 Application Form. Check out the criteria below –

i. Nationality 

Applicants must be an Indian citizen. 

ii. Age

Minimum age of an applicant should be no less than 17 years. Maximum age is 25 years, though applicants belonging to reserved category can appear till 30 years of age. 

iii. Education

Subject combination of Physics, Chemistry, Maths, Biology and English in 12th standard is mandatory. Minimum marks to be obtained are –

  • 50% in aggregate for candidates belonging to general category;

  • 40% in aggregate for candidates belonging to SC/ST category;

  • 45% in aggregate for candidates belonging to PWD category.

iv. Domicile

Candidates filling up the Kerala MBBS Application Form 2020 must be a domicile of Kerala. They are eligible for 85% of the seats in every state medical college. However, 15% of the seats are kept for all-India quota.  

v. NEET qualification

For candidates to participate in the admission process for MBBS in Kerala colleges, NEET qualification is mandatory. A minimum of 50% percentile is required to be considered for counselling.

i. Registration –

The link of the application form will direct you to the registration page, which includes basic details such as the name of an applicant, date of birth, contact number, email-ID etc. 

After logging in the access code, a candidate will have to click on the "Register" button which is followed by a confirmation page.

ii. Filling details –

After registration, applicants will be directed to the main page wherein either the MBBS or BDS course will have to be selected. It also requires details on address, academic details of 12th standard, and quota (if any).

iii. Payment of application fee –

A candidate may opt for different modes for paying the application fee. It can be deposited through both online and offline mode. The online mode includes internet banking, debit card, credit card, e-challan etc.

iv. Uploading documents –

The candidate will also have to upload scanned documents of left-thumb impression, signature and photograph as per the specification. 

v. Printing application form –

It is advisable to take a print out of the main page of Kerala MBBS 2020 Application Form for future reference if such need arises.
