Around 1.6 lakh students appeared in the 2018 JIPMER MBBS entrance examination. The exam was held across 290 centres in the country. The Exam was conducted in two shifts i.e. Morning and Afternoon. The morning shift exam took place from 10 am to 12:30 pm. 

  • As compared to NEET and AIIMS the JIPMER Exam Phase I was easier.

  • Questions asked were easy to average.

  • Few diagram based questions were asked in biology.
