Goa UG NEET Counselling 2023

The Goa NEET UG counselling 2023 will be organised for 85% of state quota seats available in all MBBS and BDS colleges present in the state, while for remaining 15% of All India Quota seats in Goa will be conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).

A total of 153 MBBS and 42 BDS will be utilised through this counselling based on NEET 2023 exams. There will be two rounds of Goa NEET counselling by the conducting authorities, where the third round will take place in case of vacant seats. Goa State Counselling NEET UG 2023 - Eligibility Criteria

Candidates willing to apply for Goa NEET UG counselling are advised to fulfil the following eligibility criteria set by the conducting authority. Here it is as follows:

• Only aspirants with a Goa domicile can fill out the Goa MBBS 2023 application forms. They must have been residing in the state for ten years.

• Candidates must have passed Class 10 & 12 from a state-recognized University or Board.

• They must have qualified for Class 10th & 12th exams with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Biotechnology, and English are compulsory subjects with a minimum of 50% marks for the General category and 45% marks for SC/ST/OBC categories.

• Aspirants must have qualified for the NEET 2023 entrance exams.

• Candidates must have completed 17 years on or before December 31, 2023.

• Aspirants who are Non-Resident Indian (NRI)/ Person of Indian Origin (PIO) / Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) are also eligible to apply for Goa NEET 2023 counselling.

Goa State Counselling NEET UG 2023 - Counselling Procedure

The authority will conduct Goa NEET counselling for 85% of state quota seats. Here is the procedure:

• There will be three rounds of Goa MBBS counselling 2023 by the DTE, including a mop-up round.

• The procedure of Goa NEET counselling will be held online.

• Candidates are required to submit their preferences for colleges & courses. After filling in their choices, they must lock these selections on or before the last date. Failing to do so will automatically lock the choices on the last day.

• Based on those preferences, and other factors, the authority will initiate seat allotment under Goa MBBS counselling.

• During Goa NEET UG counselling, candidates must report to the respective institute to secure admission.

• The admission will be completed after submitting the required documents and fee payment.

Goa NEET UG Counselling 2023 - Registration Process

• Visit www.dte.goa.gov.in and click on the “Fill Goa MBBS application form 2023”.

• Register using a valid email id and password.

• Verify the link sent to your registered email id.

• Fill in required personal & professional details such as Name, Date of birth, Gender, Nationality, NEET 2022 scores, Class 10th & 12th marks, contact details, Domicile, Category, etc.

• Submit the course choices, including MBBS, BDS, BHMS, AHS, BAMS, B.Sc Nursing, and BVSc & AH.

• Upload necessary documents like Class 10 & 12 scorecards, NEET 2022 Rank cards, Photograph, PWD certificate, etc.

• Submit the form and take a printout of the registration form.
