Candidates must either be an Overseas Citizen of India or an Indian national.
Must have completed their primary qualification before or by 31st April 2020.
Candidates must possess a medical qualification which is equivalent to an MBBS degree in the country they have pursued the degree in.
Candidates must crack FMGE in a maximum of 3 attempts. If they fail to crack the same in their third attempt, they will not be considered eligible to get registered with the Medical Council of India.
Candidates graduating from a few countries are not required to appear for FMGE 2020 to register with Medical Council India. Such an exemption is only applicable if they are deemed eligible to enrol as a medical practitioner in those countries. The said countries are – Australia, New Zealand, Canada, the United Kingdom and the United States of America.
