FMGE Important Dates 2024 - June Session

The Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) is a screening test conducted by the National Board of Examinations (NBE) in India for Foreign Medical Graduates (FMGs) who wish to practice medicine in India. The exam is held twice a year, in June and December. The exam conducting body is also entrusted with the responsibility to release FMGE important dates 2024.

FMGE screening test 2024 June session will be a computer-based mode, conducted in two parts i.e. Part A and Part B. Foreign graduates who will appear for the screening test will get a registration certificate from the National Medical Commission (NMC).

Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must either be an Overseas Citizen of India or an Indian national.

• Must have completed their primary medical qualification before or by 30th April 2024.

• Candidates must possess a medical qualification which is equivalent to an MBBS degree in the country they have pursued the degree.

• Candidates must crack FMGE in a maximum of 3 attempts. If they fail to crack the same in their third attempt, they will not be considered eligible to get registered with the Medical Council of India.

• Candidates graduating from a few countries are not required to appear for FMGE 2024 to register with Medical Council India. Such an exemption is only applicable if they are deemed eligible to enrol as a medical practitioner in those countries.  The said countries are – Australia, New Zealand, Canada, the United Kingdom and the United States of America.

• Application forms can be availed and filled out online through the official website.

• Candidates will have to provide personal and academic details in the FMGE application form 2024.

• They are also required to attach their signature, upload documents and passport size pictures with the form.

• Post submission, candidates will not be allowed to correct the information shared in their application form.

• Candidates must take a printout of their application form to complete the process.

• If you've submitted your application on time, you can get your admit card to attend the exam.

• The admit card will be available online on the official website.

• Make sure to download it and print a copy. You'll need to bring it to the exam center, along with a valid ID.
