Question 1: What is the Expected Cut-off for the TNEA 2021?

Answer: Below is the listed category-wise cut-off for the TNEA 2021:

  • Unreserved category - 50%

  • Backward or Muslims - 45%

  • MBC and DNC - 40%

  • SC or ST or SCA - 35%

  • Students who get merit rank in the TNEA 2021 exam will be given the first preference in the TNEA counseling 2021.

Question 2: Who Can Apply for the TNEA 2021?

Answer: 

  • Candidates must have passed 12th and he/she should be a native resident of Tamil Nadu,  holding a Domicile certificate. 

Candidates whose parents are central government employees and serving in Tamil Nadu from the past five years, can also apply in TNEA 2021, provided that candidates must attach the proof of their parent’s working tenure.
