NDA 1 English Question Paper Evaluated for 2020

The English paper for NDA 1 2020 had a total of 200 points. Spotting Errors, Synonyms, Antonyms, Ordering of Words in a Sentence, and Fill in the Blank Spaces are the five components that make up the full paper. There are ten questions in each segment. The following is a thorough examination of the NDA 1 2020 English question paper.

This year's question paper, unlike past years, has only 5 components. In past years, NDA question papers had more components, such as Idioms and Phrases, Sentence Ordering, Cloze Test, and Comprehension. Another change is that the Fill in the Blanks section has been renamed 'Preposition.' The style stayed the same as a fill-in-the-blanks exercise, but all of the questions were from the English Grammar chapter on "Appropriate Prepositions." It essentially states that those holes must be filled up with the correct prepositions.

The paper was rather easy, thus those who had prepared properly may easily score high. There were other questions about vocabulary, tenses, proper prepositions, subject verb agreement, and phrasal verbs, in addition to 'Preposition.' There were additional questions about how to use prepositions in a sentence, in addition to 'complete in the gaps.'

As previously said, the question paper was simple due to the limited number of topics. Those with a solid command of the English language and grammar will have little trouble answering all of the questions. All of the parts, from 'Spotting Errors' through 'Antonym and Synonym,' demand a relatively medium degree of expertise. However, if someone does not practise the chapter 'Appropriate prepositions,' he will be unable to definitively answer all of the problems.

As a result, the NDA 1 2020 English paper was of an easy to moderate difficulty level. Those who planned and prepared well, as well as those who had a great understanding of English language and comprehension, easily scored the best on this paper.

1. What is the NDA-1 2020 Assessment all about?

The National Defence Academy, or NDA, is one of the nation's most coveted defence entry tests. The test is for entrance to the NDA's Army, Navy, and Air Force wings, as well as the Indian Naval Academy's course (INAC). NDA is held twice a year and consists of two stages: a written exam and an SSB assessment. A total of 5.3 lakh applicants applied for the test in 2020, with 2.4 lakh students showing up for it.
