Good morning respected Principal, teachers, and my dear friends. Today, I, Ajay/Anu, stand before you all, to speak on the topic of cleanliness.
Cleanliness is not just important for the environment but it is also important for one's own health. It is very important for everyone to be aware of the need for personal sanitation and hygiene. It is a fact that dirty and unclean places are the breeding ground of mosquitoes that cause deadly diseases and infections. It is our right and our duty to keep our homes and schools neat and clean. People who avoid practicing clean habits are often suffering from skin problems and weak immunity.
I have seen many junior students littering and throwing garbage in the school compound and verandahs. It is my request to you all to throw the rubbish in the bins, as littered garbage only makes our school look unclean and untidy. Garbage and rubbish not only cause land pollution but it also leads to the accumulation of deadly gases and odor in the air. We should all follow the ‘Swachh Bharat’ campaign initiated by our government to keep our country clean and healthy. Both teachers and students should participate in this campaign and contribute their bit.
I would like to bring to everyone’s attention that our school has planned to hold a ‘Cleanliness workshop’ to educate everyone about the importance of cleanliness and personal hygiene. A clean and green environment will keep everyone fit and fine with a healthy mind. Cleanliness is not just an act of cleaning the environment, but an act that purifies our mind.
