An action can be represented in two ways, namely, active and passive voices. The passive voice always uses the past participle form of the main verb irrespective of many tenses. Only auxiliary verbs depend upon the sentence given in an active voice. In a clause with passive voice, the grammatical subject expresses the theme of the main verb, i.e. the person or thing that undergoes the action or has its state changed.
