Hint: For solving this question you should know about the multiples of any number and the factors of any number. In this problem first we will find the multiples of every number and the factors for the given numbers and then match them to get the right pair.
Complete step by step answer:
According to the question, we have to find the multiple of 8, 7 and 70 and also find the factors of 30, 50 and 20.
So,
Multiples of 8 are - \[8,16,24,32,42,48,.....\]
Multiples of 7 are - \[7,14,21,28,35,42,.....\]
And the multiple of 70 are - \[70,140,210,280,350,420,......\]
The factors of 30 are
\[\begin{align}
& 1\times 30=30 \\
& 2\times 15=30 \\
& 3\times 10=30 \\
& 5\times 6=30 \\
\end{align}\]
These are the factors of 30.
\[\therefore \] Factors of 30 are 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 10, 15, 30
Factors of 50 are \[1\times 50=50\]
\[2\times 25=50,5\times 10=50\]
\[\therefore \] Factors of 20 are: \[1\times 20=20\]
\[\therefore \] Factors of 20 are: 1, 2, 4, 5, 10, 20
(a) \[35-7\times 5\] - multiple of 7
(b) \[15-15\times 5\] - factors of 30
(c) \[16-8\times 2\] - multiple of 8
(d) \[20-10\times 3\] - factor of 20
(e) \[25-25\times 2\] - factors of 50
Now, if we compare these with the given options then only option ‘(a)’, ‘(c)’ and ‘(e)’ are right options.
Note: While solving these types of questions if there it is asked to find factors of a number then always make all possible pairs of multiplication there. But you have to ensure that the answer of the factors will contain one digit only one time. It means we can’t repeat the same number there.
