Dr. B.R Ambedkar was born on April 14, 1891, in Mhow (Madhya Pradesh ). He was better known to be a leader of Dalits. He was born in the Mahar caste which is regarded as untouchable by the upper caste therefore, he faced discrimination from every corner of the society. During his political career, he founded the Independent Labour Party in 1936, and in 1942, he founded the Scheduled Caste Federation.
