In his utopian vision Sorrieu imagined all the people of the world categorised into different nations, identified themselves through flags and national costume. The procession was being led by Switzerland and USA , Germany and France followed,then came Austria the Kingdom of the Two Sicilies, Lombardy, Poland, England, Ireland, Hungary and Russia.This scene, he imagined, was being watched by Jesus Christ, angels and saints.
