Hint: Rashtrapati Bhawan or Presidential palace is the official residence of the President of India which is located in New Delhi. Earlier it was known as Viceroy’s house but after 25 Jan 1950, when the first president of India resided there it was renamed as Rashtrapati Bhavan.

Rashtrapati Bhawan or President’s house completed in 1929 and inaugurated officially in 1931. After the relocation of the capital from Calcutta to Delhi, governor-general of Bengal decided to make a palace for the viceroy of India. The task of designing the Rashtrapati Bhavan was in the hand of British architect Edward Landseer Lutyens. He conceptualized the H shaped building covering an area of 5 acres on a 300-acre estate.
