National Cyber Olympiad (NCO) is an annual global online educational programming competition for students conducted in December. The team registration is open to any student of that grade level, and the competition aims to teach problem-solving skills through computer programming. Students will compete with other students in their age group for top honors, under the watchful eyes of expert programmers, mathematicians, and scientists. The goal of NCO is to get kids excited about computer and cyber education!

NCO Olympiad Online Mock Test for Class 4 Award System 

Winners in all categories receive top honours and trophies, and medals will be awarded in the following categories:

1st Place: Gold medal

2nd Place: Silver medal

3rd Place: Bronze medal

Placing awards for individual categories will be based on achievement in the category. For team placement, combined scores from two-member teams will be calculated to determine the winners for each category.

The format of the event will be as follows. For Class 4 students, NCO has three sections. The first section comprises of Logical Reasoning. It has a total of 5 questions and each question has one mark. Next part is the Computer IT section. This is a major part of the paper and has almost 25 questions each of one mark. The last section is the Archiever’s section. This is the toughest section and each question carries two marks. Thus, in total, a Class 4 student is expected to solve 35 questions that carry a total of 40 marks. This is the format of the first level of NCO for Class 4.

1. What is the National Cyber Olympiad?

Ans: The National Cyber Olympiad, also called NCO for short, is a yearly academic competition. The first NCO was held in 1997 and since then has been held annually from Mumbai, India. It is open to students from all over the world who have completed high school or equivalent education. The competitions include various areas of knowledge such as Mathematics, Computer Programming, Astronomy, and many more. Ans: National Cyber Olympiad is organized by the Shakti Foundation, Mumbai, India. The foundation was founded by Dr. Subhash Kak, a distinguished professor at Oklahoma University who has been involved in the organization of various international science competitions over the past decade. He has been actively involved in organizing NCO since its inception and has been its General Secretary ever since. The managing committee consists of a team of young professionals from different parts of India who work closely with Dr. Kak.

Ans: National Cyber Olympiad is a national-level technical and non-technical competition for school students organized by the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India. The competition aims to promote technical and non-technical skills among students and to enable them to work on innovative solutions for nation-building goals.
