The syllabus for IEO Class 7 is provided below  which is divided into four sections. Each section includes important topics covered in the syllabus. 

Section 1:

Spellings, Collocations and Words related to Travel, Locations, Activities, Homonyms and Homophones, etc., Synonyms, Antonyms, Analogies and Spellings, One word, Phrasal verbs and Idioms, Modals, Word order, Nouns, Pronouns, Verbs, Adverbs, Adjectives, Articles, Prepositions, Conjunctions, Punctuation, Tenses, Voices and Narration, etc.

3. What is an OMR sheet and for what purpose it is used?

Ans: The OMR (Optical Mark Reader) sheet is a printed paper that has circles for every option. These circles have to be filled with a pen or pencil. The computer reads the filled position and enters the data in itself. These OMR sheets are given to students in their examinations. These are generally used for those exams in which multiple-choice questions are asked. Like, these sheets are used for IEO, IMO, NCO, NSO, etc exams. Students have to fill the circle that represents the correct option with the help of a pencil and pen.

4. How can students of Class 7 apply for the IEO exam?

Ans: Students have to follow certain steps to fill the application form for the Class 7 IEO examination:

  • Students first have to check whether their schools have to register themselves with the SOF so that these schools can conduct the exams.

  • The registered schools will then provide the registration forms to the students.

  • Pupils have to pay the registration fees of INR 125 to get the application forms. These forms have to be filled by them with all necessary details like name, class, email id, phone number, etc. 

  • After that, they have to submit the forms to the schools and the schools have to submit them to the SOF.

Ans: Section 2 of the Class 7 IEO question paper is known as the Reading section.
