How will the Uttarakhand NEET Counselling 2020 Take Place?

If you crack NEET 2020, you will be eligible to register for the Uttarakhand Counselling NEET UG 2020 that is to be held online by HNBUMU. Two rounds of the online counselling will be followed by a final mop-up round to fill up the vacant seats if any. Read the following to get an idea of the step-by-step process of the Uttarakhand Counselling NEET UG 2020. 


Step 1: Registration

You need to go to the official website of HNBUMU and fill up the registration form for Uttarakhand NEET Counselling with particulars like valid mobile phone number, NEET application number, NEET roll number, etc. Following this, you will receive a verification code on your mobile phone which you need to put them on the website in order to complete the registration process. 


Step 2: Fee Payment

Your registration will not be considered as valid until you pay the fee of INR 2000 for Round 1 and 2. If you decide to take part in the mop-up round, you have to pay an additional INR 1000. Both these steps must be completed online and payment made using credit or debit card, NEFT, etc. 


Step 3: Choice filling and Locking

In this step, you have to fill in your choice of college with their consecutive number and your preferred courses. You can choose more than one college. The seat allotment will be according to your choice or preference. Once you have made all your choices, you need to lock them and finalise before the last date of registration. 


How will the Seat Allotment be Done for Uttarakhand NEET Counselling?

When you appear for Uttarakhand NEET Counselling, you will see a separate seat allotment for each round. But what will actually determine the final seat allotment for each candidate are two things- the merit rank as acquired by the candidate in the already published merit list and the choices of colleges as filled up by the candidate at the time of registration.
