Significant Preparation Tips For JIPMER Examination

Besides solving the sample papers and previous years’ question papers, the candidates need to follow some preparation strategies to score more than 90% marks in the JIPMER Examination. These effective strategies are discussed below:

  • Build a Timetable.

Before starting with the preparations, students must create a schedule. This timetable will help them in managing and using their time productively. They should dedicate 10 to 12 hours to studying. Also, this timetable will enable candidates to complete their daily targets.

  • Go Through the Syllabus.

It is very important to know about the curriculum before studying for the JIPMER examination. The syllabus of this exam is given below:

Physics – Electronic devices, optics, electrostatics, magnetic effects of current, thermodynamics, magnetism, current electricity, electromagnetic waves, nuclei and atoms, electromagnetic induction and alternating current.

Chemistry – Solid-state, electrochemistry, surface chemistry, equilibrium, isolation of elements, polymers, alcohols, block elements, d and f block elements, coordination compounds, solutions, haloalkanes and haloarenes, etc.

Biology – Microbes in human welfare, ecosystem, organisms and population, biotechnology, respiration in plants, mineral nutrition, environmental issues, human physiology, cell cycle and division, etc.

Quantitative Aptitude and Logical Reasoning – Coding and decoding, blood relations, theme detection, figure completion, alphabetical and numerical series.

English Language – Unseen passages, literature and writing skills.

4. What is the eligibility for appearing in the JIPMER exam?

The eligibility criteria for appearing in the JIPMER exam is as follows. 

  1. The candidate should be an Indian citizen or non-resident Indian. 

  2. An international applicant has to take permission from MCI before applying for the exam. 

  3. The age of the candidate should be 17 years or more. 

  4. There will be no relaxation for students of any category. 

  5. The applicant must have secured a minimum of 50% marks in 10+2 with subjects Biology or Biotechnology, Physics, Chemistry or English Language.

  6. Students currently studying in Class 12 are also eligible to apply. 

5. What are the documents required to apply for the JIPMER exam?

Before applying for the JIPMER exam, the applicants must keep the following documents ready with themselves. 

  1. Photograph- On the photograph, there must be the name of the applicant along with the date. If it's not so, the form of the applicant will be rejected. 

  2. Signature- The size of the scanned copy of the signature should be 35mm Height X 80mm Width. 

  3. Caste Certificate- If an applicant has a community or caste certificate, he/she must upload it while filling the application form.
