Assam Medical Counselling 2024: Important Dates, Merit List, Eligibility Criteria, Registration, and Seat Allotment



The Assam NEET Counselling Merit List will be used to initiate the 2024 Assam NEET Counselling process. Candidates must register online for the Assam NEET 2024 counselling process. The Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Guwahati, Government of Assam, will handle the Assam NEET Counselling 2024. There will be two rounds of Assam NEET Counselling in 2024, which will be held offline. However, Assam NEET 2024 Counselling registration will only be available online. Candidates must register on the Assam DME website and complete the registration form if they want to take part in the Assam NEET 2024 Counselling.

Assam NEET 2024 Counselling Process

  • Candidates must qualify the NEET 2024 exam in order to participate in the DME Assam counselling, which will be conducted offline in two rounds.

  • The DME, Assam will release the merit list, which will include the names of the candidates who were selected based on respective NEET 2024 scores.

  • It is important to remember that only candidates whose names appear on the list will be eligible to register in the Assam NEET Counselling process.

  • Before the deadline, eligible candidates must complete and submit the Assam NEET application.

Assam NEET 2024 Counselling: Eligibility Criteria

  • The candidates should qualify NEET 2024 Entrance Exam.

  • Candidates must be Assamese residents.

  • The applicants must have finished their 10+2 in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English with a minimum of 50% marks; candidates in the SC/ST category must have 40% marks, and physically handicapped applicants must have 45%.

  • The candidate must be at least 17 years old as of December 31, 2024.


Assam NEET Counselling 2024: Application Form

The following are the steps that candidates should take to finish the Assam NEET Counselling Registration:

  • Visit dme.assam.gov.in website.

  • After that, click the link for "MBBS/BDS Counselling 2024."

  • After reading all of the instructions, click "Apply Now."
